Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Vaelta Labs (“we”, “us”) governing your use of Finance Command at fincommand.vaeltalabs.com and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in after we update these Terms, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Finance Command is a personal finance tool that helps you organize your finances, run calculations, and receive AI-assisted verdicts and explanations about financial decisions. It works from information you enter yourself. We are not a bank, lender, broker, investment adviser, tax preparer, or accountant, and the Service does not hold, move, or invest your money.
Finance Command provides general information and tools for educational and organizational purposes only. It does not provide personalized financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing in the Service, including any “Approve”, “Adjust”, or “Avoid” verdict, is a recommendation that you take or avoid any action.

Verdicts, scores, projections, and explanations are produced from the figures you provide and from automated rules and AI models, and they depend on the accuracy and completeness of your inputs. They may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and they cannot account for your whole situation. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions and their outcomes. Before making a significant financial decision, consult a qualified professional who can consider your full circumstances. Do not delay or disregard professional advice because of something you saw in the Service.

Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence. AI output can contain errors, omissions, or statements that sound confident but are incorrect. Calculations such as totals, balances, and percentages are performed by our own code, but you should still verify any figure that matters to you against your actual accounts and statements. See the Privacy Policy for how AI requests are handled.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password confidential, and be responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at privacy@vaelta.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. One person should not share a single account with others; use the household feature to share a budget.
If you create or join a household, other members can see shared household information, and your income, expenses, and debts are combined with theirs in shared budget views and in AI analysis. Only join a household with people you trust to see that information. You are responsible for who you invite or join.
You agree not to:
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Probe, scan, or test the Service for vulnerabilities, or attempt to access data that is not yours
  • Interfere with or overload the Service, including by bypassing rate limits or using automated tools to access it at scale
  • Attempt to manipulate the AI features, for example through prompt injection, to expose system instructions, other users' data, or restricted functions
  • Reverse engineer, copy, resell, or build a competing product from the Service, except as the law allows
  • Submit another person's information without their permission, or content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringing
You own the information you enter. You give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display it solely to operate and provide the Service to you, including sending relevant parts to our infrastructure and AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy. We may also use aggregated, non-identifying information to maintain and improve the Service. Any feedback you send us may be used by us without obligation to you.
The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and branding, is owned by Vaelta Labs and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. All other rights are reserved.
The Service relies on third-party providers (such as hosting, database, and AI model providers) and may link to or connect with other services, including other apps in the ATLAS Suite. We are not responsible for third-party services, and their use may be subject to their own terms. Third-party outages can affect the Service.
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, apply fair-use limits to AI features, and perform maintenance. Because the Service is provided to help you manage information, keep your own records of anything important to you.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR ANY VERDICT, CALCULATION, PROJECTION, OR AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, RELIABLE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR NEEDS. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VAELTA LABS AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, SAVINGS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, OR FOR ANY FINANCIAL LOSS ARISING FROM DECISIONS YOU MAKE OR DO NOT MAKE IN RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and hold harmless Vaelta Labs from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account at privacy@vaelta.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including the disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
We may update these Terms. When we make a material change, we will update the version and date on this page and ask existing users to accept the new version at their next sign-in. Continuing to use the Service after accepting means you agree to the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where the law of your location requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, please contact us at privacy@vaelta.com so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
